Maker’s Inspiration – Christmas

Where do our makers find inspiration for their Christmas designs?
We asked four of our members to share what they are influenced by.

“Blue Christmas ” This year, Benita of BerryCoot Creations was inspired by a blue and white theme, as seen in this gorgeous tree by Rebecca Robeson. Benita’s Christmas romper fits the colour scheme perfectly.

PJ of Marjorie Handmade is inspired by “Little Golden Books with Christmas as the theme”. Her festive bibs for babies are the ideal complement to a little Christmas reading.

Kate from Tinkerbell Tailor has been busy sewing Christmas bloomers and has had great fun styling them in the Christmas spirit. Her plum pudding collection of bloomers matches with this tasty plum pudding from OZphotography at FreeDigitalPhotos.net

Elizabeth from ELK Prints loves “the idea of making a floral Christmas wreath with our Australian native flowers”. Her Advent calendar milestone cards fit perfectly with Australian natives, such as this grevillea, photographed by Kathryn Willmott.

What is inspiring you this Christmas?
