Pattern Challenge – Koala and Elephant Masks 2

Handmade Cooperative members have taken up the challenge to try their hand at sewing patterns from some very talented designers. Donna from Ebony Shae Designs makes patterns for kids toys, including finger puppets, masks, bibs and booties. Today, Kate from kaetoo and Bek from Fluturi show us their take on the koala and elephant mask patterns.

The koala pattern is un-bear-ably cute and is easy to sew. Neat tucks give the mask shape and the ears are just too adorable!

The elephant mask is a little more complex to sew, with stuffed tusks and a glorious long trunk. This mask is great fun for kids to dress up in.
