Rather than constantly running out of wrapping paper and having to rush down to the shops, have you ever thought of making your own?
We keep rolls of butcher’s paper in our house which we turn into the most gorgeous (and economical) gift wrap. Decorating plain brown paper wrapped packages can be as simple or complicated as you want to make it and is an activity suitable for any age. These packages were wrapped by myself and my four-year-old using upcycled ribbons, scrap paper, stickers, drawings and washi tape.
We love simple pretty packaging so much that we even have a wrapping and packaging board on Pinterest (some highlights below; check the full board out here).
