Make tasty savoury treats for the kids’ lunch boxes with this simple ham and cheese focaccia roll recipe.
Simply pop 2 tsp dry yeast in the bread maker with 475 g bread flour, 2 tsp salt, 2 tbsp powdered milk, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp olive oil and 300 ml water. Let the bread maker combine and knead over 45 minutes. Then remove dough, shape into two circles and allow to rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until almost doubled in size.
(No bread maker? Visit here to make the dough by hand.)
Whilst the dough is rising, preheat the oven to 210 C, grate cheese and cut up ham. Flatten each dough round and sprinkle with cheese and ham. Roll tightly. Cut into rounds and bake in the oven for 30 minutes or until golden. Yum!
